The Bayram residence is a LEED-Silver house designed for a young family in the suburbs of Houston, Texas.  The 2,300 square foot house provides three bedrooms upstairs with a large loft space and a flowing main level plan with a gourmet kitchen, structural steel stair and plenty of natural light.

A green-hued concrete main level floor with bamboo flooring inlays brings a coolness to the touch on humid summer days.

An un-interrupted cedar plank ceiling throughout counters the modern white sleeping spaces on the upper floor to serve as a natural transition to the blue skies beyond.

A steel staircase brings a lightness to the Gallery space and allows for visual connection from front to back.

Large sliding doors connect the Living Room to the pool deck and a single step separates the Living Room from the Gallery.

Site-built Plyboo cabinetry and a high-end appliance package complete the Kitchen. A single step provides separation from the Kitchen to the Dining Room.
